Here's the press release for a fanatstic evening I'm putting on in Eastleigh In May...
Would love to see you there... I can't wait! :)
Coming to The Courthouse on Sunday 17th May is an Acoustic 'Singer-Songwriter Sunday' with featured artist Steve Pledger. Steve is winding up the tour for his fantastic new album 'Striking Matches in the Wind' at Eastleigh's newest Arts venue, which is located in the old magistrates court on Leigh Rd. Steve's music has been described by 'BBC Introducing' as 'Beautiful, authentic, unblemished and wonderful' and Neil King of FATEA magazine said that Steve was ' A songwriter of real talent'. Having toured with award winning Folk artist Ange Hardy ( Ange also guests on Steve's album ) expect to be moved by an 'intense emotional experience of the inspired kind'. With support from the magically melodic tales of Jim Chorley and the storytelling songs of Tom Lowman, this will be an evening for fans of quality acoustic songwriting and up close and personal performances.
The evening starts at 7pm and finishes at 9.30pm.
£8 entry. Doors open 6.30pm
Please bring your own drink as The Courthouse has a cafe, but isn't licensed to sell alcohol.
